The frost have since yesterday spread its soft layer over Sweden and the cold winter winds are slowly starting to blow, and with its icy breath make your body shiver. This cold weather is a perfect opportunity to sit down and with a cup of warm chocolate, create with the lovely "Little blue button stamps".
I have thereby today chosen to share a Christmas card, with the shabby look.
But i have also decided to do a little twist with the November release stamps :)
More about this twist you can read about in the end of this blog-post.
Christmas card
When i created this card, I had in my mind to skip the ordinary and very classical Christmas colors like ; Red, green and gold. And instead chose to create my card in the " white winter" theme.
The cardbase is ordinary white cardstock and the papers are layered and distressed with help of scissors and inc.
I colored the "pull" stamp with my pro-markers and my inktense watercolor pencils, and used stickles to glimmer the stamp up.
Twist card
Have you ever wondered why your stamps that you buy only are used for 1 occasion... Either if its spring, summer, autumn or winter stamps... you tend to not use Christmas stamps on the summer. But I´m here to change your opinion about that :)
The little blue button stamps are perfect to use all year around.
This summer card is using the November Christmas release stamp "Pull" from LBBS and the only thing i have done with it.
Is just that i have colored it differently and used spring and summer papers instead of Christmas.
Isn't that awesome!? :)
I hope my cards have given you some new ideas, I want to specially thank Olga ( Owner of LBBS ) for giving me the opportunity to create with her adorable stamps.
